The first mountain lifestyle hotel of Hungary, the LIFESTYLE HOTEL MÁTRA****superior is located in Matrahaza, only 20 km far from the M3 motorway, in tranquil, beautiful forest and mountainous environment, at an altitude of 710 m.
The wellness hotel offers programmes tailored to the Guests’ different requirements for physical activity and a new type of spa experience in Mátraháza.
LIFESTYLE HOTEL MÁTRA****superior welcomes its guests with 114 rooms.
Every room is equipped with air-conditioning, a bathroom with a shower or a tub, an LCD LED television with satellite channels and media playing possibilities via a USB port, a telephone, a mini-bar, a laptop-size in-room safe-box, a luggage rack, a hairdryer and free Internet connection (Wi-Fi).
24 pairs of rooms can be connected, 47 rooms have a balcony or terrace and 4 rooms are accessible for disabled guests.
Standard room:
25 - 30 m2 rooms for 2 persons. A cot or an extra bed can be added to some of the rooms. The beds in the rooms can be converted into single beds. Some of the rooms have a balcony and can be connected.
Junior Suite:
32 – 38 m2 suites with a living room and a bedroom. A cot may be added, extra sleeping accommodation is available on a sofa bed with a sleeping area of 160 x 190 cm. Maximum number of guests: 2 adults + 2 children under 14 years. Thirteen suites come with a balcony.
Family Suite:
There are two 57 m2 family suites in the hotel with a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each suite has a bathroom with a tub, and another with a shower cabin. A cot can be added, extra sleeping accommodation is available on a sofa bed with a sleeping area of 160 x 190 cm. Maximum number of guests: 4 adults + 2 children under 14 years.
The suites are located on the second floor of the Hotel and both come with a terrace with a view.
Lifestyle Suite:
Three 47 – 52 m2 suites with a living room, a bedroom, a large terrace (with a sunbed and terrace furniture), as well as a panoramic bathroom with a jacuzzi. A cot can be added, but extra sleeping accommodation is not available. Maximum number of guests: 2 adults. The suites are located on the third floor of the hotel, with a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.

Restaurant:
Lifestlyle Hotel's Aragonit restaurant would like to lay the culinary foundations of the first Hungarian lifestyle hotel. In addition to the new gastronomic creations our guests are welcome to taste popular traditional dishes and the best of the Palóc cuisine. At first sight this may seem unfeasible since the ingredients of Palóc dishes contradict the current Hungarian cuisine and eating habits. This contradiction is intended to be resolved by the use of new kitchen technologies such as sous-vide, or the presentation of original dishes with healthier and lighter garnishes on the menu and in other offers.
Conferences:
Lifestyle Hotel Mátra Mátraháza offers 4 conference rooms that can accommodate a total of about 400 people, and are located on the first and third floors, named after minerals occurring in the Mátra. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a cloak-room. Each floor has a terrace from where participants may enjoy a beautiful view, and can thus be a perfect venue for coffee breaks.
